OUR CURRICULUM

The Curriculum is currently undergoing a period of review. Our curriculum is based on the Chrisitan principle of Wisdom and intends to foster opportunities for children to learn about the World, one another and God. We strive to promote a curriculum which imparts knowledge, promotes the acquisition of a wider vocabluary and builds cultural capital.

Knowledge Organisers

We share intended learning outcomes with parents and children at the onset of each unit of study though our knowledge organisers. They highlight knowledge gains and vocabulary that will be introduced as well as suggesting a book children will be reading as part of the unit. The organisers are a useful assessment tool for all and promote additional hone learning opportunities too.
